World Series Game 5: Ortiz plays hero as Thunder beat Flash

David Ortiz hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the 10th inning to lift the Rolling Thunder past the Fort Lauderdale Flash 6-4 in 10 innings in Game 5 of the World Series.

Lee Smith pitched the greatest performance of his MicroLeague career, going 4 2/3 shutout innings with two strikeouts and zero walks. Jim Edmonds also added two RBI in the win.

Kevin Mitchell had two RBI in the loss, while Ronnie Belliard stays hot, picking up two more hits for the Flash.
