Spring Training: Alvarez pitches strong again, lifts Monkey 5-3

Decisions, decisions.

Wilson Alvarez pitched eight strong innings, allowing just two earned runs, with seven strikeouts to lead the Chunky Monkey past the Fort Lauderdale Flash 5-3.

Mike Schmidt was 2 for 3 with a home run and four RBI to pace the offense.
