Spring Training: Lofton leads way as Thunder down Monkey

Leadoff hitter controversy has begun.

Kenny Lofton was 2 for 3 with three RBI to lead the Rolling Thunder over the Chunky Monkey 3-2.

Both pitchers pitched very well, but Jared Weaver got the win, going nine innings with nine strikeouts. Pat Hentgen took the loss, but didn’t allow an earned run with nine strikeouts. Greg Luzinkski had a home run in the loss.
