WS Game 1: Bichette, Pujols lead Flash over Thunder 12-6

It wasn’t Greg Maddux’s best game, but the hitting made sure to come through.

Dante Bichette and Albert Pujols each had home runs with four RBI to lead the Fort Lauderdale Flash over the Rolling Thunder 12-6 in Game 1 of the World Series.

Ken Brett got the win, throwing 4 1/3 innings of relief, while Rick Ankiel took the loss.
