Series even at 2 games apiece

There was a reason the Thunder picked Greg Maddux first overall and Robinson Cano as his top hitter.

Cano hit three home runs and Maddux pitched a complete game with nine strikeouts to lead the Rolling Thunder past the Golden Glovers 6-2.

Derek Jeter added three hits, while Brady Anderson also had a home run.

Hanley Ramirez was 3 for 4 with three doubles in the loss.
